The Greatest Ever? Don’t Hate.

Lebron James won his second title at the NBA Finals last week (check out his MVP performance in this GIF). I’ve never been a fan of a team, just a fan of the league and couldn’t be happier for a guy from Ohio. I’m sure much of the state feels differently after Lebron left Cleveland for South Beach a long 3 years ago. I believe that Lebron earning his second ring is good for the NBA.

With comparisons to Michael Jordan for nearly all of his career, he has now passed or tied MJ in most major statistical aspects of the game at the same point in each others’ careers. It would be nonsense to think that this won’t continue as long as Lebron is still playing.

When everything is said and done, Lebron will leave the court surpassing most anyone on any statistical category in basketball. This excludes Most Points in a Single Game and quite possibly excludes the Assists category either. I’m proud to call Lebron an Ohioan, just like me.

Hater's gon' hate.

  1. 10 years from now, everyone will only remember that he came from Ohio. That’s going to be the next bragging right for Ohioans “Lebron came from Ohio”
